New Skills - New Career

This week, Julia Gillard has announced that in less than four months more than 1,600 job seekers have completed training under the Productivity Places Program and are now beginning to take up jobs in skills shortage areas. More information on this Program can be found at   http://www.productivityplaces.deewr.gov.au

The Top 30 enrolments by qualification under the Productivity Places Program include Financial Services, Hairdressing, Aged Care Work and Children’s Services. This seems like a brilliant initiative for those currently looking for work.In addition to this, its National ICT Careers Week commencing on 28 July 2008 – 2 August 2008.
