This week, Julia Gillard has announced that in less than four months more than 1,600 job seekers have completed training under the Productivity Places Program and are now beginning to take up jobs in skills shortage areas. The Top 30 enrolments by qualification under the Productivity Places Program include Financial Services, Hairdressing, Aged Care Work and Children’s Services.
