Global Summit gets off to a great start

The Summit Dinner was a great start to the education.au global summit which is really an opportunity for strategic conversations.  Not only was there the opportunity for networking, but the entertainment was very funny. Well done to Jane for that choice. I sat next to Jean Johnson (www.thecademy.net) and George Siemmens (http://www.elearnspace.org/blog/)  and given our conversations I am really looking forward to their provocatuer sessions in the next two days.

There are already photos on the Flickr site, thanks to John Connell(www.johnconnell.co.uk/blog), Mike Seyfang (http://mseyfang.edublogs.org/) and our own Kerry Johnson. Go to this link to see more over the next two days.

With such a great provocatuer list (www.educationau.edu.au/globalsummit) hopefully we’ll capture as much of the conversations and make them available. To see the live bloggers comments go to http://www.technorati.com/tag/GlobalSummit06

Garry - great event so far! There’s always a little cynicism when conference (summit?) delegates are asked to do something beyond turning up and listening, but if the group I am in has been anything to go by, this will be a memorable strategic conversation.
