I have worked in the IT industry all my adult working life which goes way back to the world of mainframes and client server applications. A good deal of that time has been spent on database design and building high performance applications. Work’s much more interesting now that I can focus on (largely) Internet based services and the Web.
This blog is mainly going to focus on technology with some emphasis on applicability to education and training . Since I am relatively new to education and training (when I consider the experience and knowledge of my colleagues), it makes sense for me to focus on areas where I have more experience and that is in the use of technology based solutions.
