I love to see how technology can be quickly adapted for useful purposes for students. A great example of this is at the ANU’s Academic Skills and Learning Centre where podcasts are being used to provide students with all kinds of valuable instruction - not related specifically to their courses, but to issues associated with surviving and succeeding as a student. The podcasts are all free to air, and some have won awards. Each podcast has a summary which will quickly tell you if the podcast will meet your needs. The podcasts are delivered by experienced teachers and researchers and provide a variety of perspectives.
