Two of my colleagues, John Travers and Kerrie Smith have been recognised for their contributions to the use of technology in education by the Computers in Education Group of South Australia (CEGSA).
John shares the title of SA ICT Leader of the Year for 2007 with Anne Ballard and Kerrie is one of 2007’s “Leading Lights”. Anyone who knows these two know they are a couple of bright sparks — congratulations Kerrie and John!
I was also pleased to see two other educators whom I know do good work on the Leading Light list.
Graham Wegner is a passionate educator and an incisive and intelligent blogger and Peter Ruwoldt is an innovator in the use of free and open source software whom I had the great privilege of meeting at the Jimmy Wales seminar in Adelaide last year.
Visit the CEGSA web site for a complete list of the 2007 winners.
