Today, when it is almost too late (isn’t that always the way!), I have discovered something I should have known about- the K12 Online Conference which began on October 23 and is scheduled to end on November 3. Admission is absolutely free. I have absolutely no idea of who has created the conference but it is so comprehensive and inspiring. You can find it at http://k12onlineconference.org/
The presentations are online, with blogs, WMV, mp3, mp4 and mov files.
The agenda is at http://k12onlineconference.org/docs/k12online06-agenda.html
Today I have listened to the presentation given by Graham Wegner yesterday called No Teacher Left Behind. What he has done here is so good - invited ‘friends’ from his networks to help him answer the question of why teachers should know about Web 2 and what they already know. This collation of what people are already doing is not only mind-blowing but also engaging: http://k12onlineconference.org/?p=63
I know I won’t get to listen to everything here, I wish I could listen faster. It is the same feeling that I get when I go to the library and look at all the books that I could read and realise that I will only read such a small number of them. But well done Graham in particular for such an effective presentation!

Kerrie, I am glad that you found my presentation to be useful. Participating in this was a real stab in the dark as regards to how to produce a useful format for consumption, then to put a useful message in place was no mean feat. But seeing Web 2.0 is all about communication, I thought that accessing my wider Learning Network and getting their ideas would demonstrate the power of the web today and show how borders are becoming less important. Thanks for the feedback - I’m sorry that I didn’t alert you to the K-12 Online Conference but you guys at edna usually don’t miss much!
