edna’s 10th - beginning the countdown

Only 5 sleeps to edna’s 10th birthday.

Today we got greetings from Luisa Marquardt in Italy who sent a link to her blog posting.

http://biblioragazzi.wordpress.com/2007/11/21/i-primi-10-anni-di-edna/

One of the staff translated the Italian for me (mine is only good for reading railway timetables) as:

EDNA (EDucation Network Australia), the Australian network of interesting resources, easily accessible online and useful for those who work in education, is turning 10 years old. EDNA is the fruit of a project between the Australian and State governments. Commenced in 1996 and operational from 1997, to spread the educational use of technology and maintain technological innovation and educational methodologies in schools.

Many thanks for the greeting Luisa. We hope many friends will be able to join us online. See yesterday’s posting for how to do that.
