To celebrate Safer Internet Day 2008 interested schools will participate in an international blogathon and a Cybersmart Detectives activity.
The international blogathon is a world wide event beginning on Safer Internet Day and lasting a week. The blogathon will generate world wide discussion with young people on important internet safety issues to help create an understanding of the online world and people’s attitudes and behaviours when they are using the internet.

Cyber Smart Detectives is a school-based online game that teaches young people key internet safety messages. Students work online with community professionals, including police, to solve a problem involving an internet-themed scenario.

Hey Kerrie - I’ve recently started a teacher blog for the PBS NewsHour with Jim Lehrer and I think I’m having trouble getting the trackbacks working in Movable Type.
