ACEC2008 - catch up with us there

ACEC2008 is the Australian Computers in Education Conference being held this year in Canberra, 29 September - 2 October, at the National Convention Centre.

The theme for ACEC’08 is “ACT on IcT”, encouraging delegates to come to the National Capital to explore the way ICT is used within both education and the workplace.

It will focus on:

* Student excellence and ICT innovation in schools
* The impact of ICTs on Indigenous Education
* Realising the potential of emerging ICT leadership
* Celebrating the potential of educational partnerships
* Voices for ICT leadership
* Thinking about future scenarios

Conference themes will include:

* E-learning including information literacy, Web 2.0 and school libraries
* Innovation including the emergence of digital libraries
* Leadership and management
* ICT in curriculum and pedagogical transformation
* ICT in Action
* Policy in ICT
* Information management
* Networking Systems
* IT/Computing Studies

edna will have a stand at the conference so you should take the opportunity to come and make yourself known, and to participate in the activities we are running.
