Is your Network blocking YouTube?

For those whose school network blocks YouTube, obviously a global rather than just an Australian problem, the University of Nottingham has come up with a solution for a series called THE PERIODIC TABLE OF VIDEOS. The main site contains a periodic table and each element in the table is linked to a YouTube video with stories, examples, and experiments. For those whose network blocks YouTube the videos are provided via another server.
This morning I found the site a bit slow to load but presumably that is just my connection.

Not entirely on this topic, I also found another set of videos being made about “world changing research” at the University of Nottingham on an associated site called TestTube.

Finally check out the range of podcasts available on a variety of topics from the Communications page. Some are also linked to videos that are using mpeg4, which I found I had to download before I could view.
