2009 is the International Year of Natural Fibres. Facts, teaching activities, case studies, links and resources and a glossary have been published on the Global Education website to support the study of natural fibres.

World Toilet Day, 19 November

19 November is World Toilet Day.
Two special guests will be available during the next 10 days in the Sanitation and Disease Project at

National Simultaneous Storytime (Australia)

National Simultaneous Storytime 2008 will take place on Wednesday 21 May at 11:00am throughout Australia. The children’s book, Arthur, written by Amanda Graham and illustrated by Donna Gynell, will be read simultaneously at participating organisations.
