China’s new-ish 5 year plan specifies that blogs, and other social softwares, be used to deliver “the people-oriented, harmonious society, sustainable development scientific concept of development and the implementation of the party and the country’s education policy”. (babelfish translation).
I’m not saying that every one of China’s 10+ million k-12 teachers has a blog on one of the Ministry-mandated portals, yet, but it’s definitely a good career move …
